Civic Leadership Courses
Social Change is invested in leadership development within the context of civic engagement. The Social Change Leadership model and Servant Leadership theory are strong components for department, student and staff development. All three courses are service-learning based, meaning there are in-class and in-community hourly requirements. Civic Leadership Courses are grounded in a theory to practice learning model for students.
Social Change offers three different courses in the Spring Semester Term
- ESHESA 2750: Women’s Civic Engagement and Leadership Development
- ESHESA 2750: Black Male’s Leadership Development
- ESHESA 5194: Leadership for Social Change
