Be a Change Agent!

In the 2016-17 academic year, more than 250 Social Change volunteers completed over 1,000 hours of service per week. Whether you are a freshman in your first semester or a senior looking for more opportunities before graduating, your time and talents are always needed in our programs. Our volunteers come from all disciplines:

Top Volunteer Majors

We have 59 majors represented in our volunteer poll and of those 59, ten are presented as dual majors. Listed below, however, are our top volunteer majors:

  1. Agriculture (27%) /Social Work (27% )
  2. Engineering (23.7%)
  3. Neuroscience/ Biology (16.9%)
  4. Psychology (11.8%)
  5. Special Education (10.1%)

Our programs operate seven days a week, Monday through Sunday, impacting Pre K-12 school aged children, incarcerated youth, families and seniors. Volunteering is also flexible with class and work schedules, as well as your unique interests.
