E.N.C.O.R.E

E.N.C.O.R.E. represents Education and Community Organizing Resilience through Empowerment. The foundation of the word encore means “to begin again” and for the purpose our program, symbolizing second chances as possible and obtainable. Scholars in the E.N.C.O.R.E.  program will not only engage in music composition, arrangement, and performance, but be immersed in a collaborative learning environment with Ohio State mentors who connect leadership development practices and theories to musical performance. Thus, illustrating the power of healing for self in artistic expression, empowering a positive response through collaboration, and building community leaders.
